Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MyCardVault (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service and must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, including photos of your cards, collections, and profile information (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant MyCardVault a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights necessary to share it.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Post spam, scams, or fraudulent listings, including for counterfeit cards
• Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service

We use automated content filtering and user reports to help enforce these standards, but we do not guarantee that all violating content will be detected or removed.

4. Reporting, Blocking & Account Restrictions

The Service allows users to follow, block, and report one another. If you block another user, that user will no longer be able to view your profile or message you. To protect the community, an account that is blocked by an unusually large number of distinct users may be automatically restricted pending review, limiting the account to contacting support. We may also suspend or terminate any account, with or without notice, for violating these Terms or for conduct we determine, in our discretion, to be harmful to the Service or other users.

5. Third-Party Links & Marketplaces

Profiles may include links to third-party marketplaces or storefronts (for example, eBay or Whatnot). MyCardVault does not operate these third-party services, is not a party to any transaction between you and another user or third party, and is not responsible for the accuracy of listings, the condition or authenticity of items, or the conduct of any user or third party.

6. Memberships & Showcase Purchases

Certain features, such as premium memberships and additional showcase slots, require payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are subject to change, and purchases of digital features are generally non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by MyCardVault and protected by intellectual property laws. Team names, league logos, card manufacturer names, and other trademarks that may appear on the Service belong to their respective owners, as further described in our Copyright Notice.

8. No Authentication or Valuation Guarantee

MyCardVault is a platform for showcasing and organizing collections. We do not authenticate, appraise, insure, or guarantee the condition, authenticity, or value of any card or item displayed on the Service.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYCARDVAULT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY TRANSACTION OR INTERACTION WITH ANOTHER USER.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
