This Privacy Policy explains how MyCardVault (“MyCardVault,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (managed securely through our authentication provider). When you set up your public profile, you may also provide a username, display name, bio, profile picture, banner image, and links to your shops or social media accounts.
We store the content you upload or submit, including card and collection images, item details, collection descriptions, messages you send to other users, and support or report requests you submit.
We record certain activity to operate features like profile view counts and the leaderboard, including when a profile is viewed and by whom (if logged in). We also use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your session.
Payments for memberships and showcase purchases are processed by Stripe. MyCardVault does not collect or store your full payment card number; Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Information you make public (such as your profile, collections, and shop links) is visible to other users and visitors. Messages you send are visible to the recipient. We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service, including our database/hosting provider and Stripe for payment processing. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MyCardVault, our users, or the public.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your session. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while remaining signed in.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can update most profile information at any time from your account settings, and you can permanently delete your account from the Settings page. Support requests and reports may be retained for a reasonable period after account deletion for moderation, security, and record-keeping purposes.
You can access and update your profile information at any time through Settings. You can block or report other users directly from their profile. You can delete your account, which removes your public profile and associated content, subject to the retention noted above.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
